N,N'-1,6-hexanediylbiscarbamic acid bis (1,3-dithiane-2-ylmethyl) ester, also known as Dithane-2D, is an organic compound. The following is a description of some of its properties, uses, methods and safety information:

-Appearance: Colorless crystal or white crystalline powder.
-Melting point: about 110-112 ℃.
-Solubility: Soluble in chlorine-containing organic solvents, almost insoluble in water.

2. use:

-The first step: 1,6-hexanediol and dimethyl dicarboxylate are heated and reacted in a solvent to prepare 1,6-hexanediyl bis (1,3-dithiane-2-ylmethyl) ether.
-The second step: The ether prepared in the previous step is reacted with dimethyl sulfide and cuprous iodide, and further treated and crystallized to obtain the target product N,N'-1,6-hexanediylbiscarbamic acid bis (1,3-dithiane-2-ylmethyl) ester.
